Prism in high-def...

Prism in high-def...

A Poem by Frieda P

Butterflies in my head

like percolating coffee suds

i walked a little faster

to catch up with my mind's anachronisms

future like a prism in high def

building castles of cotton candy vapors

smoky salt tears whisper out loud

like a hot knife through butter foam

dancing in enraged twists of prophetic cyclonic squalls

shindig of cobalt's eclectic leaves storming fiercely down

wading in puddles of refractive delirium's trippy next dip

I know I already gave you my feelings on this one but thought id put it in review here...

Sounds like your mind is bubbling over....trying to keep up with processing the way things used to be or old ways of thinking. What could be, is too bright to peer at for long and you question whether its real or just illusions. The sadness and pain is speaking to you maybe not as loud but its there. The last three lines seem to infer that you know the emotional dance youve done for so long won't end and even if theres a pause in it you will always expect the proverbial shoe to drop.

Still get the same thoughts after rereading this poem....and I love each line. xo

Wow, I step away to do the dishes and I come back and you've already got nine reviews in like an hour! Such is the respect that is owed to the best poet on the site though ;) I love the psychedelic feel of this one...it may come across as abstract on the first read but it made sense to me right out of the gate...I guess that's the result of living an entire life in the abstract, which is actually my equivalent of normal at this point ;P Well done on your daily dose of inexplicable genius Mrs.R ;) xo

To be frank, I am out of words to express how I feel about your poems. They are simply amazing and your vocabulary usage is amazing. I feel that you've learnt all the words of the dictionary. Please, you've gotta give me some tips.

The many colors you bring enhance our vision into your vibrant thoughts my dear sweet poet. When they are brought to us in high def, it becomes so much more blinding as light finds us, hypnotizes us and brings us to our knees...begging for more. your poetry flows in brilliant tones of ideas and themes, tinted to bleed right into the readers mind. Chaos evolves from your phrases and becomes one with everything around us.

Loving every word of this chaotic swirl sweet Frieda. You amaze me...
