I inhale you,

swept away

like wildflowers on fire

essentia of your sweet burn

in frenzied obstinacy

pulsating my being,

easing into my enraptur'd soul

Your manhood ~

swelling of unspoken desires

sweet lavish abundance

flows through me 

as elation's crystalline, 

  pearlized pools of clarity,

symphonies burst into exhilaration

sun & moon rise simultaneous

melted in your rush

aside  sea's crashing  thunder,

lulled into an exhaustion of

a spent fury's

  powerful embrace

I breathe the essence

within your crest'd glory,

exhaling

smoky

 tears 

ravish'd ~

Stunning work as usual, Frieda!! I happened upon this one this afternoon in my "suggested reading," and of course, you did not disappoint! Not just anyone can write lines like:

"I inhale you,
swept away
like wildflowers on fire
essentia of your sweet burn
in frenzied obstinacy."

Your work is always so full of passion, and yet you write the most wonderful, unusual descriptions of many of the poets I've read. I've said this before, but your work continues to inspire me! I'm always on the hunt for new, unique ways to express and describe things, and I'll turn to your poetry for ideas.

Plus, when describing romance or sex, it is easy to fall into cliches or "romance novel" type adjectives that are over-the-top and in turn, un-sexy. I've never found that with your writing. Continue to keep up the fantastic work, and I promise I'll continue to read it!!!
