Another charming write Frieda...I don't know how you come up with so much so quickly. Obviously your pen runneth over...sometimes mine come and don't seem to stop and then nothing for a time. Bottle whatever that is you drinking and send me some please.

"leaping in recklessly with wind's abandon"
"swift exits cause for scarlet dissolution"
Another great write, with the trademark of your delicate, sensual pen. The above listed, are my favorite lines. "Scarlet dissolution" is one "tasty" image :) The final stanza (and the youtube-horse;)) reminded me of a wonderful Portishead song. Thank you for the word-flowers :)

Wild, white horses
They will take me away
And the tenderness I feel
Will send the dark underneath
Will I follow? - Portishead "The Rip"

Woo doing the happy dance to your review, thanks muchly K!
Oh wow, how I missed reading you and it's only been two days. You blew me away with this one. Such a wild but interesting piece. I think she would definitely live the moment when we are in it. Seize it actually. :-) Lovely piece.
// leaping in recklessly with wind's abandon,
let's do that frenzied tango that lover's do
if only for an evanescent night's embrace, //
You blew me away to the other side of the world with these lines. x

This is certainly a teaser of a poem you've offered up Mrs.R...you may not know me in the light of dawn? I'll cross that bridge when I come to it, hopefully not for a million years ;) There is much mystery in this piece as well...even though I'm confident in knowing about that place you've never been, I've only really heard of it...I've never actually been there either so that is something for the reader to consider haha That frenzied tango...I'm "considering" that line a lot too ;) All in all, there couldn't be a better animal metaphor than horses...maybe they inspired the poem themselves...whatever the order, the connection is perfect, as is this and every other poem you write :) xo
