Feather'd a rouge poem~

Feather'd a rouge poem~

A Poem by Frieda P

You planted wildflowers

for my hair

 swept me off my feet,

gingerly feather'd

a rouge poesy

in the shape of my heart

sang a song of tea

unfurl'd in

honey'd rapturous charm,

nuzzl'd 'tween my breasts

a note, pen'd of love

shades of lusty interludes

 unfold'd within poignant caresses

press'd poppies' poetry

crimson rosebuds and wisteria

in blissful whisper's bloom,

cast in heaven's sighs

impassioned fire

a'blaze

~in foolish ecstasy

the Cyndi Lauper song is amazing, it in my head now swimming around and giving me smilies behind my eyelids... (I know the brain does amazing things sometimes.. at mine does)... oh and the POEM... I wanted to say something about those ecstasies (foolish as all get out) but everyone has mentioned them.. so.. leading up to those last lines, you colored the world with: "crimson rosebuds and wisteria
in blissful whisper's bloom, /cast in heaven's sighs" and besides the sigh I said out loud, I thought, yes Frieda, "impassioned fire / a'blaze" and I remembered a Dianna Ross song that went something like "If there's a cure for this, I don't want it", don't call the Dr."... you know, this is another poem I think your were smiling, laughing and giddy all over as the pen moved your hands (and perhaps heart as well).. perhaps you were thinking of another Cyndi song : "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun"... lol. But Frieda its a romantically fresh, wonderfully sweet smelling (all them flowers in your hair) and muchly appreciated poem .. Ha my proof.. look at all the loverly comment you got .... you are one special poet/woman Frieda.. X

Not sure if you're going to San Fransisco anytime soon Mrs.R, but don't forget those flowers for your hair...actually it's never a bad time for flowers in your hair, I quite enjoy that look on a woman, but you didn't just read that ;P The progression from flowers to fire here is a pretty strong metaphor...it kind of reflects how the lovemaking process should go right? Yes, you can see what this piece did to my head...my imagination is quite giddy as I take in this little foray into the ultimate ecstasy. No honey necessary in my tea when you're around...you appear to have all the honey that is required ;P I'd normally be a little less gushing in my reviews but since Mrs.R refuses to blush, I have nothing to lose by getting it all out haha Every poem you write is a poignant caress my dear :) xo

Thanks so much Captain, appreciate it!
Those poignant caresses are so important to message the hearts and minds. To couple them with love bug's ecstacy. A double whammy...Bravo..........

This is not a foolish ecstasy. It is romance and love wrapped in lustful dreams of passion.
Very beautiful.

You are most welcome Frieda.
I am definitely ready for some foolish ecstacy, I will say. Soothing, this sensual piece moved soft across my mind like a warm breeze caressing the visions conjured up on this winter day. A beautiful and enticing poetic bouquet you have penned today my sweet friend. May there always be fragrant wildflowers for your hair and enchanting poetry flowing from your pen.

So much beauty finds me today...

Yep.....salt and vinegar preferably.
Feeling down and disheartened I thought i'd come read one of your poems. And here I find a warm sultry piece...in shades of my favorite color. The picture is magnificent..the song divine and the words transcending. It brought to mind Paris... walking the streets amongst love struck couples. The air heavy with the scent of flowers and decadent food...and strawberries... (ive got those on the brain always!). This is one of my favorites..

100 rouge smiles... x
