![]() Fat tuesday's half moon...A Poem by Frieda PWe engag'd over coffee au lait & beignets at Cafe Du Monde ~ Mardi Gras was sweet delirium caught up in frenzied displays of passion we crash'd into each other's expectations under a fat tuesday's half moon French Quarter flipp'd us a big easy jazz'd within breath's fiery release mask'd emotions as beads of sweat, Bacchus paraded around our sin our rituals proved no epiphany grand fiesta under this spell was worth shriving redemption floated away soon after festivities fast © 2014 Frieda PAuthor's Note
