~ ChambermadeA Poem by Frieda PUpon my dressing table, silly, sentimental reminders of you musky scent of your cologne a love note handwritten in a crimson hue stained in chambord teardrops still a knotted tie strewn over the mirror dark as night locks stuck in a boar brush, a vintage sparkly pin, token of your affection I remember our reflections when we were two you held me close to your chest fondled my breasts in clear view aroused me till I couldn't breathe we fell to earth in passionate rhyme sway'd til dawn in night's sweet surrender all these keepsakes and visions now abandon'd I sigh at my reflective disconsolate despair ~ now a permanent accoutrement in my empty bedchamber © 2014 Frieda PAuthor's Note
