Jazz me with your brilliance.

take me on a magic carpet ride

trip the light fantastic with your moves

script a rant or wax poetic

as long as there's passion,

blissful harmony of wine, wildflowers & song

intoxication of rapturous conjugation,

words set to reason, rhythm and rhyme

meditations, observations, consternations,

highlights of synchronized times of our lives

allure of history's past, present and future 

poetry is the spice of life, let it shine

This was quite the elegant portrayal of poetry itself and the way it dances within each soul uniquely, differently, never perfectly in tune with another although two might be similar. I also relish the way you speak of the various tones of poetry, and mentioning how it could be written of the past, present, or future depending on the poet. Intriguing, I must say. That last line was killer as well!

I think you can turn a desert into an oasis with your wonderful writes. Poetry is truly the spice of life and the hope of lost souls. I love the video along with this marvelous song of sting. The desert indeed keeps on dreaming of rain and love...Excellent...:).........

Well it is always shining when I come here. As poets, words breath us, they become life...wrapping us in thoughts and ideas...moving that pen in cursive fonts, singing songs in the key of anything and everything and painting portraits of what is and what perhaps we hope will be.
