What a magnifcence of words! This is a mix of emotion and experience, the looking into rather than just looking at. Your word use is just breathtaking, near muddle of legend and idiom.. tis astounding, one of the best of your very best and how many those are!
In an intensely thoughtful way, you've re-interpreted the canvas.. magical!

Mothernutter, you have no authority over people who love me!!! :P :P
It often amazes me how you aptly and creatively choose adjectives to adorn your poetry, mothernutter... Are you sure you haven't swallowed the dictionary? I'll leave the scholarly reviews to people like Emma... ;)

Haha I just caught your remark to Cassie, yep....I'm that old! ;-P
This poem enraptured me in its magnificent contents, and the way it portrays relaxation as a cure-all to any ills that might befall the intellectual. Not only is it the medicine that gets us out of bad times, but 'tis also the candy we enjoy to indulge in. Well done.

I love this review Tai, exactly my sentiments, thanks so much.
Sea breezes, poetry, and something sweet - yes, I'd say those cure just about everything! This poem tingles the taste buds and awakens the mind's eye - love it, Frieda!
Amazing poetry my writer friend. I had to read again for the pleasure of the words. Good places and visions create by your strong description. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry.

If you want to know me, read my poetry, it's all in there. I am a mother of three sons (my finest moments) a sister, a survivor and a little bit crazy. I lost my beloved sister to suicide, so you'll.. more..
