Rather imperative, man's peace & kindness should be foremost on the agenda ~
I'm sure this will be ill-receive'd by some but there are always two sides to a coin.
Halted in religious rhetoric
reap'd deeply in dragon's breath
slay'd in kraken's exhaled disavowed beliefs
saintly passages hand'd down as gospel
mind control with no concrete sustenance
man's kindness rather'd of utmost accountable relevance
bloody sin at the hands of church goers' merciless chants
after hours en masse when they slaughter one another
You know that I would love this Frieda... I will only add there is no scientific proof of a superstitious god or gods or "Universe"; but there is plenty of proof that man invented such stupidity.. and this has done great harm in the world for way too long a time... a courageous "Kraken" write Frieda.

Indeed, I concur, blind stupidity. Thanks so much Curt.
I love the way you put a point across, a man with power in this day and age is a man with an agenda, be it a political or religious front, or even for that instance on the cafe, people with power and ego shed their dominance over the rest of the free thinkers. You're roar for independence and free will is supported by me till my last fighting breath. Excellent poem, thanks for the rr suggestion noodle!

Thanks so much Kee, always love to hear your thoughts on my work....
People forget that you dont have to participate in a church to have a relationship with God. Theres benefits to having others to worship with but theres also a downside. The biggest being that the powerful leaders of that church or demonination may misuse their positions to promote personal agendas or force feed their interpretation of the bible. Hypocrisy and atrocities abound in institutions where the congregation is expected to be blind sheep rather then students of the word. A persons relationship with God is a private thing and should never be dictated by church bureaucracy. Youve touched on a controversial topic for some but one that needs to be brought into the light. Peace, love and kindness is something the world needs more of... ;-)

I have my moments...lol...when I'm not squawking like Lucy!! Ha...xo
Never been much for organized religion… they are judgmental and only interested in how much cash they can collect from their sheep. Needless to say I really enjoyed this piece. Thought provoking with hint of humor.

Thanks Dale, glad you took that away from this piece....
If you want to know me, read my poetry, it's all in there. I am a mother of three sons (my finest moments) a sister, a survivor and a little bit crazy. I lost my beloved sister to suicide, so you'll.. more..
