Dancing to a tune that's long since dissipated into empty air, and growing tired: each limb aching with every small movement because the dance has gone on for far too long. Dark, but willing, and as you so graciously put it: "ecstatically dying".
Every word was enticing, to say the very least, and the concept is presented in your usual style of a dark concept hidden carefully beneath fluorescent and bubbly words. I enjoyed muchly, well done indeed!

Woo, you just made my night sir Rich! Thanks so much....
RAWR, gorgeously sexy poem! And you say it's "for a poet," hmm? Yes, I know how a poet can do that to us sometimes...almost in the same way as a skilled dancer or a musician.
"My soul immersed in fine pomegranate wine's effervescence," is so sensuous, as well as beautiful metaphoric imagery. My other favorite lines are "inhaling vapor'd affinity of/ecstasy's diaphonous illusions," and "ecstatically dying a little death/with each fine tuned melody." The poem itself evokes a song, in a sense.
So whomever this poem is dedicated to, I hope it would get them hot...lol!!

I wasn't sure what to expect with the title...that sounds like a word I would use ;P Well you certainly know how to paint illustriously with your words Mrs.R, and soulfully caress a reader's imagination in the process. Feels like the heat got turned up a bit at the end...maybe that's the pomegranate wine speaking, or I'm channeling my craving for a glass now having read this one three times. What more can I say love, your writing is brilliant, your talent is astronomical, and your imagination is unparalleled...take a bow Mrs.R ;) xo

Haha Don't prance too hard in that case love...you need those feet for dancing ;) xo
only got thru the title and thank you for the word i have been wanting for something in the works .... it is perfect ... diaphanous my new word of the day ... if i use it i will wait a month or two but probably will search my thesaurus so as not to copy :) and poesy!! where do you get your fodder?? ok now for your poem ...
another fine work Frieda ... the poet's all that and more ... using the title in the body gives me points of familiarity ... the form your lines take gracefully glissade me subtly to the right ... the wrap up leaves me held in warm ...so welcome in this nasty cold winter :) another fine poem missy
