Pen'd jurisprudence

Pen'd jurisprudence

A Poem by Frieda P

What lies a'side these words,
     inky blood wells of
    truths be known,
      sweat of tears &
           heartfelt soul,
reaching into the vastness
 of perception and tangibility~
    swept away in analogy's idiosyncrasies
when you smear undue sentiments &
flagrant disrespect, thinking you're
the only with a creative bone
within your over inflated ego's charms
it render's you fragile and a bore,
trashing poetry just for the sake of
your own self righteousness & envy's spite,
  surrender unto your words
you appropriated them; it' ll be a poet's demise,
snag'd whinging within docile purity's poetic principles
spew'd back in prose by witless assassination
until the day comes your pen is hung and undone,
& your shears are shorn of indignation's wrath
heed the warning signs, there are no marmalade fractures
on the walls of cafe's intelligence
jurisprudence's tenet will carve your skins
            doctrinality spear'd upon sword'd convictions

Do not tread lightly
     upon the shadow cast
the dark side of this establishment's
                                  wrath will eat you alive

Well, that pretty much covers it! A brilliant word lashing, and that entire last verse is perfection. You wield a mighty pen, Frieda!

Ahh, I think we must all have someone in mind when we read this -- probably one or two are thinking right now of a sarcastic p***y ...:)

Takes reading and rereading to fully grasp the value of this piece and it was all worth the effort.

Thanks Rachelle, appreciate the read, just a wee rant to clear my head...
You know the drill now Mrs.R...you post something new and my breath is taken away...you have once again vindicated my insistence that your voice is as diverse and multi-layered as anyone around. This is a side of you not often seen...I'd say that 'maybe that's a good thing' but it sure makes for good poetry...I have a vision of you writing this whole thing with a cathartic smirk on your face...you have gained my attention love, have mercy ;) xo
