Lapis Lazuli Enchantment

Lapis Lazuli Enchantment

A Poem by Frieda P

 Entranc'd in your quiver
    my heart takes a leap
       dancing a'loft captivating
     stratospheres of blitzing stardust,
          radiating in tinsel'd azure hues
       wafting in violaceous diamonds
           of crystalline lapis lazuli shimmer
         streaming a delicate aria
             in its tempo's hypnotic glint
   cello's hum & shiver a whimsical melody
                 commanding a prolific message,
          strumming across my heart stings
    striking old familiar love chords
                     striking harmonious notes
      beating in my aching chest
                  a bumble of dragonflies
              prancing overhead in
                     perfect symmetry
charm'd intentions etch'd
makes my soul tremble and sigh,
script'd in a deep ginger'd esprit
                    within cobalt's luminous skies

A picture is worth a thousand words they say, but it is as if the pictures you paint upon the mind of the reader are infinitely more indescribable, yet we're left with lasting impressions of a dizzying design upon our minds. Fine work my friend and so characteristically Frieda.

As usual your poet's gift glides succulently from your pen as if upon dampened lips gracefully.

Thanks so much, I'm jazz'd you found it too!
you know Frieda I started to read and my heart was beaating as fast as the 2 cello's were playing and was completely mesmerized by the flow of your words... I loved: "striking harmonious notes
beating in my aching chest
a bumble of dragonflies
prancing overhead in
perfect symmetry"
and thought YES!!! but then I got to: "script'd in a deep ginger'd esprit
within cobalt's luminous skies" and while my heart beat was faster, all I could think was "SIGH"... I know, I know, not original, but true none the less..

I hope Frieda that you understand that I really love this poem.. hope you don't mind my gushing.. ;o) ~~redzone

Thanks so much Scott, jazz'd you enjoyed my darling. ;-)
How is it that you do this every day? Has one of my fairies put a poetry spell on you? Surely, there must be magic involved...
Each one of these lovely little tidbits is another jewel in a sparkling chain...
You are a true genius, my poetic friend...
