In this stillness...

In this stillness...

A Poem by Frieda P
"

that's where I'll meet you

"
In this stillness
      where no breath is audible
where violaceous storm clouds
           seize the night
beseeching a calmness
                      in its intentions
when compassion flows
                   into crevices of pain
and grace takes a giant stride
                       in man's footsteps,
star's align in perfect symmetry
                              of truth's authenticity
& genuine purity of friendship's
                          faithfulness never falters
in the ether'd dust particles amidst
               mankind's rising dawn,
that's where I'll meet you halfway
                         'tween moon's amber light

Still partaking in friendship even when nothing is needed, still feeling the bond with them despite no necessity for them, and enjoying the presence of a companion in the neutral stance, and enjoying every minute of it. This piece shows the purity of friendship and the soft bliss that accompanies a companion, even in times of contempt. Well done, indeed.

PERFECT!!!
This is amazingly powerful, my favorite line is "where violaceous storm clouds seize the night beseeching a calmness in its intentions when compassion flows into crevices of pain" The contradiction between the storm, and the calmness of its intention is superb. and then the imagery I have as compassion fills all the pain filled chasms of the heart... incredible! Naturally, I also really like your last line, it is whimsical in its beauty, meeting someone, even if halfway, in the amber glow of moonlight!

Can you hear that? The whole world just went silent after reading this fantastic poem.

// beseeching a calmness
in its intentions
when compassion flows
into crevices of pain //

You are just fantastic and each poem blows me away each time. I cannot remember a time that I would read you and you've not blown me away... You do each and every time. This is definitely one of my favourites by far. It's just you, pouring your heart out like you always do.

You know I am a huge fan of Lindsey too. :-)

Flip flops & all that jazz.

Happy Valentines Day to you, too, Mama F!
There is a certain softness to your words today my dear friend. This poem truly touches my heart. It is an immense joy to read such beautiful flowing words as I start my day. Gives me hope that good things can possibly happen. I also love the image and the quote...a voice that does not speak in words, but speaks in love. That is your poem this morning. As I sit here before the sun rises, staring out the window, thinking, re-reading your words in my head, I find my heart beats just a bit faster because of this wonderful poem I am pondering.

100 unspoken words of affection
Love sure does look good on your Frieda. No joking around, no funny Jimmy Fallon speak...this poem is pure bliss to me and if I never read another, my heart would still be full. You are truly amazing my friend.
