Still partaking in friendship even when nothing is needed, still feeling the bond with them despite no necessity for them, and enjoying the presence of a companion in the neutral stance, and enjoying every minute of it. This piece shows the purity of friendship and the soft bliss that accompanies a companion, even in times of contempt. Well done, indeed.
compassion, grace,
lines trace the wonders
compassion the sponge
empathy lights the path
Battered, yet a pulse,
the air rises, the light warms,
the cool steel forecasts
your message to my ear,
a locomotive nears,
Control is felt long before it is seen,
the band awaits,
liberate or domesticate
ah a Valentine,

You're too kind, thanks so much, jazz'd you enjoyed :-)
Another day, another masterwork from Mrs.R...the first two lines are fitting as I almost have to hold my breath to take in all little flashes of brilliance. You know the drill my friend...you post something, I gush over it, but not because you're my friend, because you're a brilliant writer...xo
