A Poem by Frieda P

I soak you in as if a Picasso,
your masterful precision
sets my mind to artful awe
lush sweeps of brilliance as Monet
tones of Maestro's chords like Mozart,
and a little boy's heart
dress'd in Armani

So very cool my good friend. You took your paint brush and expertly danced it across the canvas and across the keys of a baby grand making sweet poetic music. Can I say...baby this was grand.

Every brush stroke different and every chord arrangement new and amazing. Beautiful my sweet friend.

Like this. I went once on a Mozart tour in Vienna. He didn`t die in poverty as often claimed, which is not that important, but an example of the way poetry provokes thought. Fine poem.

Thanks so much Debbie, nice to see you back again!
Okay, don't spank me even tho I might like it, but I think boy's is possessive and therefore requires an apostrophe.:) A sensual and visual write for sure.

So uh....wow? Haha. I adore this scribble. Truly adore it. I'm a major fan of the arts and I love how you have accommodated them in this poem to bring new meaning. Great!

Oh now this one has made my day so much brighter, I didn't think that was possible because the sun is shining here in England. :-)

I went to the press and found the yoke I had been looking for, thanks for your sweet words E.
Frieda that first line grabs you turns you inside out, leaving you all squiggly and sitting in the middle of Mozart's Piano Concerto in A Major... in other words breathless But you haven't finished with us.. nooo. you go on and dress us up in Armani... here I am all dressed up and nowhere to go...er.. I mean (gaining some composure) Frieda it was a picturesque poem.... ;0) ~~redzone
