I believe this speaks of a dear life lost before they are given the chance to truly deal what they are capable of, but instead making a move that has the same affects and intensity, but affects the lives of everyone differently: no longer accomplishing, but sorrowing, no longer full of joy and pride but regret. This actually brings back a quote I've written in my journals just a few days ago: "Love is eternal, but not the profound and extravagant feelings that it is often associated with. Love is a storm that leaves its scars on the body of the world, or at least mine, eternally, never to dissipate, and to forever serve as evidence of the pain once felt by a lover."
Well written piece, Frieda. Well done.

I commend you for having lived through that pain, though. It's truly tragic that people would take their own lives, due to any circumstances that may happen to arise. Well done, I must mention again, well done and poignant piece indeed.
Regrets prevail and linger in our hearts for the lost ones that brought us streams of tears without any resolution in sight. Souls long to freedom from pain and suffering...A great sad poem...:)............
I too know the heavy breath you breathe as you pen these poems my sweet friend. The sadness reaches a trembling hand to my heart...and the tears I cry are only for you. This sorrow like a never ending silent lullaby fills the breeze with darkness and shutters your smile. However your talent shines as a bright beacon in these shadows and I am honored to read you.
Sigh...I know where this poem comes from. Im always amazed at the different ways you have for describing Lee's loss from your life. There is always a poignant bitter sweet beauty to the words you use. The reader is saddened but also left with a sense of awe...
Your love for her and the strength you exhibit (though you may not see it) always touches my heart...xo
Thanks Red, you know how I get on this day, truly appreciate your support and care my friend. xo

Sad and regretful. Remorse isn't a verb. Regret might work better there.
