You wrote in Braille upon my heart
tattoo'd black etchings darkly lit
echoes of what was once impressionist art
vanquish'd with a glance of thy sword
words not decipherable in the name of love
inscribed delectation's sans an endorse'd mark
They way the name of the lover is inscribed on your heart specially since the true love happens to be blind, no other scripture but Braille can describe it. Loved your imaginary as I always do .
Please keep coming with more.. :)

Thanks so much Avinash, I"ll see what I can do. ;-)
Often Frieda even when we can see, it takes touch to know what is real.. the touch of words can deceive until you feel the touch of a kiss to know for sure... I too was moved by your opening line, cause I think that it is only through touching someone's heart in ink or in Braille, that real love, hell even real friendship can be seen and shared... I guess even with all our moderninity, it still comes down to touch... and done mutually, together... yes, I found sadness here, but smilled cause it takes a wonderful poet to see impressionist art, and no wayward sword can change that ... ~~redzone

I don't recall that one, who did it, and you can already sign'd your name across my heart ;-)
The theme of this wonderful piece just blew me away. I like how you carry the touch of words through this even if it is a bit lonely it stills fills my imagination with thoughts. You my friend always bring your best to us and I could not be a happier recipient.
Once more I am amazed.

Thanks Jack, someone inspired this poem through their 'blind' words, glad you enjoyed it.

If you want to know me, read my poetry, it's all in there. I am a mother of three sons (my finest moments) a sister, a survivor and a little bit crazy. I lost my beloved sister to suicide, so you'll.. more..
