Stick a fork in it ~

Stick a fork in it ~

A Poem by Frieda P

You had a little sip & nibble
 of my generous spirits,
you stay'd for tea & honey,
helped yourself to cookies too
 Evening came, we feasted,
seem'd a perfect pairing,
match made in Hell's kitchen
you lov'd my spicy ignited cookin'
I craved some
affectation's desserts...

When night dawn'd,
you slipp'd into my cream puff'd darkness,
had a taste of my suffering,
you were out the back door
before I could even say

~ stick a fork in it

Let's just hope the fool didn't let the door hit him in the arse on the way out. Nice to see some humor on this dreary afternoon and who better to serve it up but you my friend. I don't know though...with a dinner menu like that, and a sweet dessert, I know I'd want to stick around and see what was for breakfast.

Once again, it doesn't matter what the subject...your poetry always comes with the amazing tag.

LOL. I absolutely ADORE what you have done here. You played this off so jovially which makes me smile instantly ^_^ "you slipp'd into my cream puff'd darkness," That line is freaking hilarious...Reminds me of something I would pen. LOVE it.
