Xposure ~

kiss me now before you lose your discretion's breath

want to reveal a hush'd whisper to you of darkly hue'd synopsis

it's not peer'd in a sunrise, overcast with the black tide of moons

it's where heart's pulse sank to the depths cursing Hades agility 

a shadowy horse of a furtive crimson view etch'd in gunmetal 

the vile reticent side sketched within the palm of my hand

written long ago, chipped upon pedestals of bare'd iniquity

the only lullaby is spun within crow's clawing soulless caws   

terrifying, they recall your tempest face and conspire within 

gray recoils of mask'd redundancies ferociously passing through

a glance of declination could send you reeling in a frenzied tailspin

each designated way the beast resides sitting 'tween credibility's abduction

swim in the vast ocean perspective's of secret landscapes or

 take my hand and dance in the squalls of obscurity's seascapes

apprehension amidst costly chances in exposure's rejection and denial

Oh you know the facades we hide behind, the different masks we wear for different people and situations, not many people you can reveal the dark stuff to....

I know what you mean. We have to find someone who is willing to accept us for who we are...all of us, even the dark parts we never show.

Seems to be the hardest part, no?

Yes it does. I think it's because even we are not comfortable with parts of who we are.

True, not easy to accept the ugly sides though...

No it's not, and when we find that some one that does accept (or at least doesn't run away) our dark side than we are able to be more of who we are instead of hiding behind the mask we have made for ourselves.

My God Frieda, this poem, in my opinion, is perhaps the best I have seen from you and that is not an easy thing to say, because you never cease to amaze me with your talent. But to read this, and find yet another example of pure beautiful poetry just blows me away. Each and every line in this is pristine, each movement of words brings a new and improved smile to my face and rocks my world...as I still am catching my breath from this reading.

Exposed is not a good feeling, opened up for all to see can ultimately break us at times, but to be Xposed to you and your poetry...pure bliss my friend, pure bliss.

I truly do not know how you do it, day after day, delivering one amazing poem after the other.

I want to pull a few lines and highlight them as favorites, but that would mean me copying the entire poem.

I am putting this in my favorites as quickly as I can...don't want this one to ever disappear.
