Bella Luna che adesca

Bella Luna che adesca

A Poem by Frieda P
"

~Enticing beautiful moon~

"
Drink in this moment,
within your fickle heartbeat's eye
as the high takes you beyond
bella luna's mysterious allurement
the scent of bee stung wildflowers
wafting over illuminated butterscotch fields
poppies blooming giddily in nectar'd glee
giggling at the sun's enticing intensity
cosmic fish do fly blithely
 overhead,
blowing kisses above the hemisphere
landing on paisley cloud bursts
singing in tune with moonbeams
drunk on cherry berry wine
a heart a'flutter in joyous jubilation
stardust twinkles in delightful glee,
speaks the universal language of the ages
as bella luna whirls in swoon'd adoration
whilst naked lover's dancing,
seduces the world to spin upside down

I think I'm dreaming here, somebody pinch me, ha! You make the dullest, hardest days turn into a beautiful, stress-free day. This is just utterly breath-taking.

I like when you say 'cosmic fish' and 'kisses above the hemisphere' it sounds very surreal

Your ability to describe nature and potray them so beautifully and penning them down in some words is magical. Your poems take to a completely new world where only literature and I stand. Amazing!

You're welcome.
This piece brought into my mind a drug, tasting sweetly, able to alter perceptions and magnify emotions to tremendous downs and elated ups . . . I quite liked this (apologies for failing to review earlier, I've had this tab open for days now)

this takes me back...back to my days in Italia...free roaming ...blissful....youth...there was no fear then and loads of moonlight! Thank you for transporting me today back to when it was simpler. I need this and
the line...... seduces the world to spin upside down.......keeps me:)

I have been sufficiently seduced, but when am I not made so by your words? ;P My thirst for your literary epics (and they ARE epics) can never be quenched, no matter how many of its moments I drink in. You are an incredibly blessed poet, and I'm happy to be able to say I'm friends with someone of such inscrutable talent :) xo

Ha, she took me along for the ride, woo Peter Max, I'll take it!
The magic that the moon can bring... Frieda, you have a way of creating adjectives that make the reader not only see the image, but taste it... Bella scrittura, il mio amica... (or something like that...) :)
