Splendiferous, now there is an adjective... and it describes perfectly the mythical, magical, wildflower surrender of this poem.. and you "had me at, "I loved you 'fore the beginning of time", Frieda... and then you went on to moonbeams and thorneless roses and .. and... well, HELP Frieda cause I am lost in your "ecstasy"... mind if I stay here awhile?? don't think I want to be found... have I mention'd how much I am enjoying your poem Frieda... just in case you haven't noticed, I AM!!! ;o) oh my.. "splendiferous!!!"

A love existing not only in the physical expressions of it, but also as an essence of the spirit that transcends all and is older than time itself . . . Well done.
my existence lies in the spirit of heart
let me be your moonlight eager to glimmer
the flower garden of thorn-less rose's bliss
power of wildflowers surrender to the sun,
You know Frieda, this felt less mystical and more like a dream come true.
Then again, life is a mystery... and love is the nectar of the mystics.
A lovely thought and a believable dream.

Better to see you with my dear... What big teeth you have! ;)
Every single line is a poem in and of itself. My favorite? "Senseless I dance in whirling euphoria". This is a great write Frieda! My absolute favorite of your poems so far.

Isn't it funny how both my favourite poets on this site are both totally romantics? ;-) You know who I'm talking about... I loved this one, I know that if anyone said anything like this to me they would have my heart in a heartbeat, haha. This has me sitting here sighing, praying and wishing.....
I love reading your beautiful, sweet words. Makes me smile... my safe haven as you know. :-)
Flip flops & all that jazz! x

The last line really drives this one home for me...I would never want to sober from the wine that ferments in your pool or ecstasy. A bed of thorn-less roses changes everything...perhaps the odd thorn in my skin would be a cue to take the twitches and come for your healing in the quiver of carnal spontaneity. A bed free of thorns is an invitation to savour, to give in to the slight tickles of petals against my back and take out the playfulness on whatever elements of your serene frame that catch my eyes first. Alright, so I'm getting carried away, but it's in the words Mrs.R...your knack for poetic sensuality knows no bounds ;) xo

If you want to know me, read my poetry, it's all in there. I am a mother of three sons (my finest moments) a sister, a survivor and a little bit crazy. I lost my beloved sister to suicide, so you'll.. more..
