[Heavy]

[Heavy]

A Poem by Frieda P

Floating

        face down

 in a vast sea

 of darkly

 tinged water,

lungs filling

 with

 unfathomable

 guilt

and pain,

 raging rolls

 of thunderous

waves

overwhelm

 and permeate

 the senses

 to the core

dragging

steadily,

descending

turbulently

to the depths

 of death's

haunting

siren call

Frieda, once more you grace my eyes with amazing poetry, but perhaps for the first time I might have to disagree...guilt, I know, I truly know it is felt, but I am not so sure it is warranted. Your sadness pains me, your broken heart hurts me, and you have every right to feel all that you do, but guilt...maybe not so much.

Still you are an amazing poet and your words always strike a chord with me. This one in particular takes me down with you, down deep into those dark waters where it's hard to breathe, but not to keep me there, to allow me to lift you above the water line. Breathe my friend...breathe.

Frieda, you're owning my tears with this heartfelt poems to your sister.... Never in a million years would she want you to feel guilty for what happened. I can't tell you how this poem affects me..... I'm utterly speechless and sending hugs and love to you from across the pond..........x

I've read and want to applaud the sad beauty of your writing, BUT hope youll forgive me for saying yet again, that your guilt is the last thing, THE VERY LAST THING, Lee would want for you. She'd be shocked, hurt that you could deny a sweet life to the person she probably loved best in the world. YOU.

Dear, dear Frieda, find light in your beautiful heart.. smile for her, dance for her, live for Lee.

Your presumptuous Brit friend who truly cares.

(Frieda) as always.
Loved the musical coupling you achieved with this piece. A dark mood can be like a siren's call. Yep.

Grazie mille Pryde, took me a while to find the right music, jazz'd you enjoyed.
Oh Frieda you lovely woman. It is so sad when someone goes and you do not know why. It was in their mind but you would have never guessed it for you love life and share the beauty of it with is. This is tragic. I am sorry.
I am here for you if you need someone to talk to.

Night Scott....
I felt the form and the powerful sinking feelings in this siren song of the deep calling us into the abyss. The mermaid of the sea can take the dive and still come up victorious. You are the one...:)...............
