I close my eyes when you speak

your wistful words a nectar'd lullaby

my safe haven amidst the stars,

I dance on moonbeam's shine,

 heart skips to your rhythmic tune

'never have to cry'

reigning in melodies of sweet harmony

my world's a better place,

and I owe it all to you...

Definitely a safe haven Frieda - this is simply divine. You have such lovely lines here. I loved how you said my safe haven, that put a massive smile on my face because that is how I feel when I read your wonderful poetry.

Such a beautiful, romantic poem. And the music is just perfect, Michael is a great singer, I love him.

Frieda, it would be so great, absolutely delightful to be able "to never have to cry"; to have someone love you in a way that makes sunlight look like midnight; we deserve nothing less.. I think all we can hope, fight for dream of is placing our hearts in someones' hands and say here, I trust you to hold it dearly as best as you can... maybe not as romantically satisfying as the sweet words of your poem Frieda... each time we love, love deeply we take the chance of getting hurt... and if we are truly honest and open with the one we love, then it will be closer to your poetic dream... guess, my review is not as loverly as usual... your poem just brought out in my thinking how many times we hurt each other, especially the ones we love,,, forgiove me Frieda, cause I do love this poem... because I know the truth of your last 2 lines..
