The title intrigues me from the very start. It made me think about mythological box from the Greeks. It made me read more about the subject matter maybe because I have a vague memory about the storyline of the box. Hehe…
“Pandora's box triumphs...”
The myth’s says that the box contains all the evil in the world. But I would say the storyline of the myth is not much related to this piece, yet it is your own version, your own box – It explains your denial and being the prisoner of your own doing or self-made choices. This box contains secrets that is hard to let go and it confines you to your own sanity.
Very nice work my friend. :)

This is such an interesting and thoughtful write. The walls we build, the secrets around us, do we open them up, or live inside them? Is the headlong small on purpose to match the shape?

It's an apprehensive headlong....and depends I think, some secrets die within us. Thanks KL.
Self-made prisons and a paradox of secrets. I believe I have stood at those crossroads. Beautifully penned despite the underlying angst of before and now.
