~and then once again, Exhale Poetry

~and then once again, Exhale Poetry

A Poem by Frieda P

My ink bleeds onto the page
        wandering from the mind's vortex
  spiral twisters, compulsions
                      and desires
  wafting through rambling quills
     hearts devour'd & core exposed
        unstrung melodies of spirit's zest,
flutters of gossamer wings on zephyr'
s glide
            touching moments unravel'd,
                  nature running poppy wild

               ...and then once again,
  ~EXHALE POETRY~
start
    the
          process
                over
                      again
from the top one more time
    gliding on a dance floor
           of rhythmic seduction
             is it rhyme or reason
that keeps me coming back to you

Hi, I wonder how a conversation with you would go down for I believe you speak poetry throughout. I'm reading your work and I just see this poetess who sleeps, eats and breathes poetry. I'm amazed and in awe of your ability and your work. "flutters of gossamer wings on zephyr's glide
touching moments unravel'd," The silky sway to the rhythm. I can see the class of lady and the passion she embeds in her way of life. Wow, I need to Exhale, taking this all in, such a monumental amount of passion, I loved it.

Nature running poppy wild...I love that :) The layout is a bit of a departure but this is Frieda all the way, right down to the song choice. Your poetry is always a breath of fresh air on a stuffy day. Lovely...xo

This is a very good description of how poetry flows from that emotional place, like breathing, it is a reflex.

Only another poet would understand that, thanks so much KL.
We close our eyes to dream; wishing sometimes the dream could be seen through open eyes. A pale reflection is the work we do with words.

That would be nice..........
could I suggest it's both (rhyme and reason)... Frieda, love and poetry is often unfathomable, but if we learn from each, perhaps we will do it right.. couldn't hear the music as yet, damn!!! loved: "hearts devour'd and core exposed".. Frieda I think the poetry returns to you wanting and needing your rhythmic touch and the sway of your dance.. it is a wonderful poem Frieda... ~~redzone

For those of us who write we know this cyclone of continual wordage. This is done with creativity and beauty.

//sighs// this is simply breath taking Frieda - Your imagery was so vivid and beautiful. You're a remarkable poetess, my lovely, and this was no different.

Ahh flip flops always makes my day, thanks so much noodlebumble! xoxo
there is a certain seduction involved in poetry...the muse comes to us, tempts us, we then breathe in her ideas, and exhale the words onto the page...

and then we want more.

Grazie mille love!
Well if being away means I find something like this waiting when I return...I may leave more often.

Frieda, absolutely gorgeous are you words today. Your ink does bleed onto the page and seeps so wonderfully to the very core of me. You my sweet friend do indeed exhale poetry and may you always breathe in my direction. As if a silk ribbon has been draped upon my skin, your words flow upon me like my dreams are a reality.

"Unstrung melodies of spirit's zest" No sweeter music could find my ears than the harmonies that sing from your poetry.

Also, I love the photo at top...seems I've seen that before...perhaps in those same dreams. :)
