Dreamy rush of butterflies surrender my lucidity

a'stray in the essence of fluttering felicitous bliss

my spirit soars to apperception's heights

envelop'd in a surreal fantasia of flight

 

Rainbow whisperings illumine my emotions

feathering the edges of flesh-tone fingers

slowly upon tingl’d thighs in shadowed sighs

emblazon into a firework’s frenzy

 

Apricot dew and flowery sun-kissed etchings

I languish in the floating billow of clouds

wishes come true in the moment of release

blushing my cheeks and tempting my spirit

 

Lilacs form on halluncine’d reflections

prismatic streams a’wash upon painted pastel eyelids

quivering breathless within heart spiraled desires

 singing melodically the sparkl’d radiance of your song

It's surreal. the use of color and the flicker of movement with the hands, the shivering, the thighs, and moreover reality paint a picture of coming between two worlds. one painted brightly in colors, and butterfly movement, and another in the present. It sort of brings to mind moments that we experience now and can't believe. It makes me feel, like I walked into one of those abstract paintings, where you have a distinct figure dressed decadently in pastel and metallic gems. it really does have a nostalgic feel.

Oh my word, I am at a loss for what to say here... You are both truly stupendous poets and then you collide your worlds together you write the most prodigious poem, and the best thing is, you can do it over and over again and each time it will be equally as good as the last. Absolutely without a doubt my two favourite poets on this site and without a doubt the best collaboration to date.

Your pens just merge together as one and create the most beautiful story ever to be told. You take me in to a whole different world with this one.

I loved these lines, I loved it all but I read these two lines over and over again and it ended each time with a huge sigh....
