/the heart has it's reasons of which reason knows nothing/
what a strong line!
A very though provoking piece, as I question love, and reason... and go through a phase where not much makes sense, where questions bombard my mind, and no answers there to quench such longing.

I comprehend this poem to be the defense of an action that would normally be considered immoral judged by the standards of society, but you, as a lover, completely understand the action. Hence the line: /"the heart has its reasons of which reason knows nothing"/. Suspicion that you yourself have suspected that your opinion on the action would have changed with time, but you are met with brief surprise that your perspective still has not changed, as referred to in the "message of constancy" and the unchanging aspect of everything. If anything, time has twisted your views in favor of the action, as if it were a finger and you wrapped your merry self all up around it . . . Splendid piece you've here, friend. I enjoyed this merrily.
Sometimes love just is.....Hi Frieda, wonderful and enchanting as always....and the poem was good too... =)
