You have delved deeply into the poet's psyche to uncover the lost gems that make them who they are , how they feel , what makes their currents of thoughts , their ebb and flow of ideas , their crashing waves upon the shores of life and how they become one with the elements that make our existence...Splendid and powerful....:)..........................

This is why I choose simple words and phrases..when I must go inside I want the trip to be as short as possible....spend too much time there and it takes it's toll on me.
Well penned Miss Frieda..
Your roller coaster ride through madness heralds truth.

the psyche of the poet is voraciously complex in its appetite for words, but we hope as poets that our readers will somehow relate to our madness...and come away feeling something close to what we felt when we wrote a piece of poetry.
Frieda, now I understand why I keep my eyes closed when I write.. no psyche-babble is allowed to escape.. but, dancing around posies is way fun.. it is nice to read a poem from you Frieda that captcha has labelled "outsulk" only the captcha knows for sure all the angst we write.. I also have learned (the hard way I will add) to stay far away from your psyche, it is a dangerous thing, beautiful and artistic, but dangerous.. may your psyche create many more poetic expressions.. (er, does this leave me off the"taking out the garbage detail". don't you think this is vinnies duty???) hugs ~~redzone
Well, this is something else... Can you imagine what you'd find if you delved into my psyche or even better, yours! I think whoever had the guts to go there would be asking for a death wish cause they'd never get back out, hahaha. I loved this one Frifri!
The poet drips part of her/his heart and soul on the page and open her/himself up to the world in this way. It is actually a courageous act if you ask me. No one knows for sure who emotions will be read. Will others have compassion or will they be brutal? Will the reviews be caring or scathing? It is a risk, but one we all gladly take to have the occasional pat on the back. Perhaps we are all a bit masochistic? "language combined within torrents of gusto" very well said, Frieda. Lydi**
When the pen and the mind work in sync secrets lie open for all the world to see. Emotions flow from dripping faucets and the noise at times can be deafening. Drip, drip, drip...does it ever stop. Pulling the plunger only allows for more filling of that poetic sink...and into we often sink, gasping for breath, pleading for mercy, only to wake up and do it all over again. We are a strange lot, that is for sure, at least I know I am. Digging deep my sweet friend, just be careful with that shovel, sharp objects frighten me. :) Very cool Frieda.
Oh, yes...the complexities of a poet's psyche. We cannot take that away for real. Every piece is a result of any emotion + artist's creativity. Since we have individual differences, and different emotions for each moment, the result would have different effect to everyone.
This is so impressive, Frieda. The music is powerful and perfect for your piece. Kudos!
If you want to know me, read my poetry, it's all in there. I am a mother of three sons (my finest moments) a sister, a survivor and a little bit crazy. I lost my beloved sister to suicide, so you'll.. more..
