I believe you've expressed either the anticipation that accompanies you when you are swept off your feet by a companion and taken on an adventure that rescued you from a problematic environment in which you were in distress, or you speak of a lover who's elevated you further than the boundaries that ecstasy allows for and has taken you to places beyond that you've had no idea existed . . . Given your usual content, I suspect the latter, but I could be wrong *shrugs*. Well done, I enjoyed the illustration you paint with your words.

Astute in your assumptions my friend, the latter would be gospel...for a little while anyway, thanks.. read moreAstute in your assumptions my friend, the latter would be gospel...for a little while anyway, thanks so much Tai.
Sigh. The tempo, in this poem speaks louder than words, in carrying me, along for the ride, with you. Can feel my feet leaving this earth, for who knows where, not I. Only wish this wasn't a limited time experience, but all good things must end.

your poems have such release and containment all at once...
like someone or something just ready to burst from holding it in...
and the words are always so vivid with intensity...you don't hold back...
sexton, rich, levertov and plath would have welcomed you into the club...your poems show passion, vulnerability but also such strength at the same time.

Wow Jacob, you made my night, perhaps my entire week with this one, thanks so much!
Sweet friend, your words, the melodic voice I her reciting these lines as I silently read, dance in such a fluid motion through my mind, it is as if one of your precious zephyrs whispers harmony laced love sonnets only to me. May my feet never touch the ground.
You are an amazing poet Frieda. I am humbled to be your friend.

You humble me Jack, thanks so much my sweet friend.
If you want to know me, read my poetry, it's all in there. I am a mother of three sons (my finest moments) a sister, a survivor and a little bit crazy. I lost my beloved sister to suicide, so you'll.. more..
