The imagery of a flower is strong here, coupled with the metaphors of intimacy and love. I think your word choice is wonderful. You really know how to bring out the gentle ebb and flow of tone. This has a kind of sing-song quality, which I think is lovely. Again, I love the elegance of the dropped "ed" to " 'd", which harkens back to the older romantic days of poetic verse. Thank you for sharing this!

I'm so glad you enjoyed it, thanks for your glowing review Sarai.
Forgive this pregnant woman but I am reminded of a cheesecake - luscious, delectable and positively sinful.... :). Ok. You have just made me want to bake....
I am noticing that you talk of dance a lot in your poetry.
The word reoccurs in your poetry...
Can you tell me the connection or why you use it frequently.
This is another splendid work of yours; a inspirational poem with touches of magic and flowing emotions.

Hahaha, being pregnant three times, I soooo get it, thanks, save me a piece sweetbind.
Your diction with respect to love poems is out of this world...every time I read I feel I am seeing visions...and going through everything that you write...I agree with Jack when he says that your work has an universal appeal...I now I wish you would tell me what you think my humble work...it would mean a lot to me!
This song dances off the page, Frieda. I realise I said song because it feels like it was sung. Your descriptions and formatting. Here I go again, incapable of a neat response when the tongue is tied. It's just that this is Great. Flowery flourish within our flush. How fun it is to recite that line aloud! All of this, truly amazing. Well done, poet!

Wow Soliokiss, I"m doing the happy dance to your review! Thanks muchly...
This one is like the breath of fresh air, such a lovely piece that feels welcoming, almost like you are breathing fresh morning air when it has rained, that smell of dust, very sensual piece, full of imagery. I loved this one.

So jazz'd you took it there Cassie, grazie mille my sweet friend.
There's both tenderness and hard almost violent action going on in this write. It's like looking into a trick mirror and seeing double images. You're either a genius or I'm seeing too much in it.

Violence, how so? See what happens when I don't add a zephyr, and it's all your fault! ;-P

Seize my breath, melodic thunder, bend me, fevered touch, surrender....
If you want to know me, read my poetry, it's all in there. I am a mother of three sons (my finest moments) a sister, a survivor and a little bit crazy. I lost my beloved sister to suicide, so you'll.. more..
