She's like butterflies in the snow ethereal beauty hidden in flurries she peeks out at the view always too meek to flutter in her soul she's a wanton woman alas, someone took her purity a blizzard that never passed she keeps safely under wraps hoping one day...just hoping
Even in the midst of the worst blizzard, your words my sweet friend warm the day and the heart. Passing through the flurries of doubt, the chill still wraps itself tightly about as her smile lingers somewhere inside where it is safe and warm. Frieda, your pen is filled with beauty this day and I am so thankful its ink has found my eyes. Beautiful, simply beautiful.

Thanks Rod, appreciate your visit and sweet review.
Light and aeriform the snow flurries fall and in between is a supernal happiness.....the butterfly. Too meek? Your words are lacy and gentle, but never meek. The first cut is always the deepest as the song goes and sometimes it feels like we will never love that way again, but the truth is, we can and we do. Keep your dreams alive and never stop hoping...because someday is just a turn of the calendar page away. Such a tender and poignant write, Frieda. The artwork you chose to accompany your words is gorgeous! Lydi**

If you want to know me, read my poetry, it's all in there. I am a mother of three sons (my finest moments) a sister, a survivor and a little bit crazy. I lost my beloved sister to suicide, so you'll.. more..
