If i trace'd upon your heartstrings, 

scripted sweet words in your name

captured moonbeams & butterflies spirit, 

if a poet's soul could ignite your essence

light the milky-way and make eyes glisten

would you be stargazing upon my face

if zest of living's experiences be captured in a word,

unfurling the mysteries of fantasies ginger

promising you eternity's sublime surrender

Would you stay to dance with me, just one more day....

The word "ginger" struck me here....there is something about the scent of ginger that is so seductive. The romantic longing in this poem is palpable. No telling what will keep a lover around for "one more dance" and sometimes we are better off not trying to figure it out. Some things have to happen "just because" and not because they are scripted. Even in my most beautiful dream I have not seen anything as enchanting and mesmerizing as your poem today my sweet friend. To sit here and feel your heart beat, wander wide-eyed through your mind, enter into the garden of your emotions is a most wonderful gift. Even if I had wings on my feet I could not dance as magically as this poem floats befores my eyes.

You take our breath away dear Frieda. I am so amazed that I can read your poetry, day in and day out, on many occasions feeling I have found your best only to open this page and find I was wrong. This, beautiful poet, is not only the best I have seen from you but perhaps the most wonderful poem I have ever read.
