In every age there is a mechanic determinism that imposes itself upon the art and artist that abides in that sliver of time. It is as though lesser Vermeers have rallied in support of guilders and in so doing have provided bread to the sellers of minerals and oil - the ingredients that grind true art into a framed submission. Every painting has its flaws otherwise it would not be human. This is very human.

All of this is so pretty! It felt so elegant and yet powerful at the same time (which is hard to do, for me at least). It was one incredible amount of imagery after the other. Amazing work!

real quick, I have a question. How do you get a video to play in the description section?
The flourish of your feminine wit, is a heartfelt swath painting monuments in water-color that sinks into the hearts and minds of your readers. Gratitude, and appreciation rolled up in desire and a lustful positivity that raises hairs upon the neck and stirs madness in the loins. Oh how well you do, my friend Frieda.

But you're right Frieda is the real belle of the ball. ;)
Purely mellifluous piece of poetry. Your use of color sublime and celestial bodies that dance across the page in perfect time. Perfectly lyrical accompanied by a delightful rhythm and rhyme. You have undertaken a classic and given it another to adore. You executed it expertly, Bravo!

Just trying to create some heat for you ladies up there in the frigid Northeast. Oh my, I just looked up...two beautiful smiles staring down at me...it doesn't get any better than that.
The color “tangerine” wafts through so much of your poetry and to me it is such a descriptive color. It is the color of sweet fruit, of blushing cheeks, of a sunrise or sunset and somehow romantic. Your words are lyrical magic. Who would not want to be penned in such a way? Elizabeth Barrett Browning would be proud, Frieda...you have written to the “depth and breadth and height” of loveliness. Brava! Lydi**
