November Cries

November Cries

A Poem by Frieda P

November cries crimson grief in your name
another birthday passes without pause
tears rain from the heavens in restitution
do the doves coo in light of you,
are your wings brighter than the sun,
have you climbed that phoenix to salvation,
what were your thoughts in that last breath,
did you continue to think of me as you leapt?
my prayers for your safe journey were never interpreted
send me a sign on the day you were born
a miracle of butterfly's flutter upon autumnal skies
you are buried deep in my heart although your ashes
wafted towards ageless blue moons to radiate into stardust

Sadness pours from your pen this day my sweet friend. Your love for your sister always shows in your words and your thoughts. I know she is proud of you and she feels each and every one of these you pen. My heart weeps for you and the emptiness engulfs me as I read. Your are an amazing talent Frieda, even when the fog rolls in thick and heavy on your mind you still can see beyond the darkness to the light that was Lee. And believe me, she sees your light each moment, she feels your love and wants your smile to return. Your gifts to her are also gifts to us, beautiful memories that we will never forget. Just remember, you are not alone...we walk with you, hand in hand.

What can I say...I struggle to find the words for anything in the best of times, but these days my head just feels like a wad of chewed gum, which is one of the reasons I've fallen so far back on RRs and so on. I can only communicate through emotions these days, and you know you have my heart always, especially during this period of time because I know how difficult this time of the calender is for you. I wish there was something I could do, but you know I'm always here my dear friend...xo

To loose some one so dear is sad. Someone once said that as long as we keep them in our thoughts they are always with us. I know that might not help. Your love for her speaks volumes Frieda. Many hugs for you. XX

Here you are again, crying as remembering your sister. That endless love for your sister will really make her honored having you.

This is so emotional, Frieda. I know you poured out your soul in this piece (as I can't forget what's written in your About me section about your sister).

Keep going.

I am in tears right now I don't even know what to say Frieda - this is such a heart wrenching write. You know what I think about your sister and what I tell you; she is so proud of you, and she is always with you, in your heart - she always will be. Everything you write for her she hold close to her heart. The emotion in this is so strong.... made me cry.

"a miracle of butterfly's flutter upon autumnal skies
you are buried deep in my heart although your ashes"

-- wow Frieda, you have me speechless here, I don't know what to say. We are here for you, all of us here at the cafe.

A shoulder of a brother offered to learn against and the shirt sleeve of a fellow human in grief to wipe your tears and a softly spoken-"crying and weeping are as natural as breathing ,..breath deep and let it flow"...safe hugs, Laury

Days that magnify loss are so hard. My prayers join yours, Frieda - and are for you as well. This is a stunning and heart grabbing poem, my friend.

Profound and heartfelt, this is a deeply emotional, poignant tribute of remembrance, so poetically well penned !

(((((Frieda))))) If you look for a sign today, you will see one. The sun might shine a little brighter or a rain drop might linger a little longer on the window pane. She is with you. She knows you need to believe she is okay...and she is. Your words are so touching, my friend. May the memories of happy times help you smile today. Lydi**
