A Moment in SanctityA Poem by Frieda PWhere there once was music lie a deaf ear entombed in icy landslides of an encased heart seasons changed quicker than the ocean tides summer was Old Man Winter in an instant, in delusions of melting ice caps came a premonition of candle shimmer dancing shadows over moonbeams, an inner sanctum of hopeful resolution when the night exploded within a promise of childlike awe and expectation, spring flew blindly like a bird with soul'd wings a hush fell over the turbulent rush dulcet melodious tunes captivated the night~ at least in this moment there was sanctity © 2013 Frieda PAuthor's Note
