My dear, you've made a habit of writing things that just strike me to the bone. This piece is highly reflective about a lot of things that have been on my mind for the last while. You just have a way of expressing these things that is unparalleled. Awesome work as always :)

Thanks so much Benji, sorry you can relate my friend, jazzed you enjoyed :-)
Written with a heavy heart. I can feel the sadness in this, the questioning, the almost shaking your head tone as this was penned.. Sometimes it is just less painful to hide.

I guess you're right Dye, thanks so much for your kind words.
Your poem reaches out with arms of empathy. I have read some of the lines you have written for your sister, I can see much remembrance of her in these few lines. I think she's seeing it too.

I hope you are right Misery and thanks for noticing, you're very sweet my friend.
In the movie, Amelie, the writer's spirit is lifted when he notices that someone has scrawled a passage from one of his books on the side of wall. Perhaps if we scrawled this piece on some walls it would make people notice what is sleeping, unnoticed, right at their feet. Perhaps...

Haven't seen that one yet, it was my intention but never got around to it, thanks muchly Tam.
You have penned the plight of so many, girl. I have fallen under this same spell a time or two, myself. Waiting on tomorrow to start living. Oh yes, I know this place. Very well penned in just a few well chosen words. Angi~

Sometimes it doesn't matter whether we put facade or not because there's tendency for people to choose only what they want to see. This piece made me think that if we could turn blind eye on the most glaring reality, how could we expect ourselves to look beyond the masks the others wore. A realistic thought on the state of humanity, Frieda.

Thanks for your insightful review gabrielle, muchly appreciated.
Sadness in living color. What is life? To some it is pain, seeing each new day as a detour away from what they believe it should be. And if they walk it alone it is even that much more difficult. Frieda even under the influence of the flu, you still manage to write something so powerful.

Awh you're too sweet Jack, you truly humble me with your words my friend.
If you want to know me, read my poetry, it's all in there. I am a mother of three sons (my finest moments) a sister, a survivor and a little bit crazy. I lost my beloved sister to suicide, so you'll.. more..
