"spiritual autumn leaves" Interesting phrase, Frieda... Whoosh, I love listening to the voice on the wind. :) Hmm, just wondering if you really mean "on the wind" or "in the wind" or "of the wind"? I find prepositions confusing and this is the first time I've read of "on the wind"...

I think in some ways, we all have a "voice on the wind"...something that speaks to us of things that have passed and things that are yet to be. Too bad, as you said, so many people choose not to listen. I really enjoyed the imagery and the pacing of this one, because it reminds me of something ethereal and yet strong at the same time. Well done, my friend!

I agree Friday, thanks for your insightful review, glad you enjoyed!
I love this poem, Frieda.
My spirit aches to hear such a voice bringing stillness and peace. Your words have left me longing for a crisp, floating respite from all the 'hubbub' of humanity.
Where may I find this voice you eloquently describe?

So intricately wrttien. There is neither one word that lacks detail, nor one sentence that fails to create a potrait in the mind of tne reader. Lovely.

Thanks so much, you humble me with your kind words, glad you enjoyed.
"that has gone before this time and ever shall be
crisp as a bell it echoes the chant of the ages
winding through sorrow'd winds to be healed,
dances on ether'd clouds like spiritual autumn leaves"
This is lovely Frieda - I really enjoyed this one and the music was perfect. Very fitting. You have blown me away with this lovely write.
After reading this, I had to close my eyes and take a deep breath. There are certain days when certain poems just make me feel as though I could bawl like a baby and this is one such piece. I'm never able to cite specific lines as favourites when I read you cuz your poems are so tightly-woven, and in the case of this one, each line compounding the pathos that much more. This is a sad and beautiful work, and a brilliant one as well.
