Oh turtle, oh turtle...

Oh turtle, oh turtle...

A Poem by Frieda P
"

"Mystery Surfer Saves Drowning Sea Turtle, Then Catches His Next Wave"

"
Oh turtle, oh turtle, do you know you were spared
by the great white surfer that came to your rescue
took the time to untangle the line that would have
surely been your great demise to the next sea world,
without a thanks you bid adieu, he caught his next wave,
just another day untangled and unfolded & a hero to spare

This is very cool Frieda and I had heard about this. For several years I sponsored a different sea turtle every year in Florida. They had electronic monitoring systems and I could watch on a map online where my turtle was heading. It was very interesting, so needless to say I have a soft spot for sea turtles and I love you beautiful tribute to this hero of the ocean.

Grazie mille Ken.
Every time i see a turtle I see a mischievous grin and a twinkle light up some eyes, I think just because the turtle can not express it's appreciation it doesn't mean that it's not grateful. Love this story.

What an ungrateful turtle. I like how you described the surfer "Great White". That's sure to cause some trouble. Haha.

There is a book called, "Animals Make Us Human." I think this is a perfect example of that. This was a heartwarming piece.
