Dances On A Cloud

Dances On A Cloud

A Poem by Frieda P

My soul
has purged
a thousand lives

I have traveled,
 many destinations

I found my peace
 and contentment
within my heart
floating through air

no matter
how wide my longing
it drifts ardently,
captivated

amidst this reverie's mystery,
holds tight onto a cloud

coming full circle
it always takes me back
to this sacred place
dancing on the midnight skies

'.. I found my peace ~ and contentment ~ within my heart ~ floating through air.. ' .. beautiful.
Echoed by Celtic Woman, great choice.

Your words inevitably touch the heart and/or mind, dear friend. You find your own places in life and so often introduce the rest of us to either peace and contentment or humour and contentment.. either way, you create miracles as well as lovely poetry. Thank you, yet again.

You're very welcome, Frieda :)
Ah, the continuous cycle of life brought only to a halt by death; to have our atoms dance around in the nothingness of the universe and finding peace in it. I liked the concept of this, it's delicious food for thought.
