Frieda - The theme with this gives in the lines...descriptive and appealing...Good to read your work…Thanks for the invite to read your thoughts to paper at Writers Café...I'm back to work with copy writer and doing my best to write 1000 words a day...and a subject you do not get to choose...will be busy the next few months...so I will read all RR"s might just take a bit longer to get a review...hope you understand...plus promote my book: The Onyx - Vena Amoris...for late next month release…I have very little time on my hands…making the most of everyday and taking today to read as many as I can…keep writing and sharing your creative talent here and elsewhere…
That is true we do get tangled in our thoughts when writing and we have to figure it out so
others know what we are talking about although is still left to many interpretations...we will never figure
out life...just one day at a time...Rose:)

One day at a time, sometimes one minute, thanks Rose :-)
Kaleidoscope...an apt word to associate with LIFE!
I often get lost in your lines, Frieda. There are just so much wisdom to unravel, I can hardly keep up.. I read this poem thrice just to make sure I quite understand. :D
Well-penned. No surprises there. :)

Wow you blew me away with this one Blue, thanks so much! :-)
Oh nice... That opening quote is definitely a mind spinning thought and pulled me right in and along with you on this little poetic introspective journey. Perception and perspective are two of my absolute favorite themes to write on, and I'm always questioning my own mercurial though patterns... How there are certain things I am so so solid on and for others I can never find solid ground even though I am consumed by that question every day! Very clever piece Frieda... I totally dug the thought line and just so well penned!!!

Yes, leave it to Chris to start the wheels rolling, thanks so much Horizon!
A kaleidoscope used as a metaphor to symbolize different perspectives all glancing at the same object; various thoughts revolving around once concept that differ in appearance, yet remain, to the essence, alike. Well done.
Ha! What amazing imagery...kaleidoscope colors, tumbling around, making many colored patterns...fantastic!
Of course, a kaleidoscope would be useless, without a Source of Light....
We are parts of a whole aren't we; it's finding our way there that is difficult. You speak of the cosmic journey we're all on. I like this philosophical piece from you.

"we're all twinkling stars
in our own little universe
ever shifting in our perception
and altered pattern views
wishing to connect'
I like the description above. Each of us with different views and thoughts trying to find our proper place. Thank you for the outstanding poetry.

If you want to know me, read my poetry, it's all in there. I am a mother of three sons (my finest moments) a sister, a survivor and a little bit crazy. I lost my beloved sister to suicide, so you'll.. more..
