~Fools Rush In

~Fools Rush In

A Poem by Frieda P

Fools Rush In...

You rushed in like the fool tide
changed the entire heart scape,
then completely ebbed away...

"Wise men say...only fools rush in... But I can't help...falling in love with you." Do you know that song, Pryde? This piece of yours remind me of that song (I forgot the title.) :D

The words told the truth. Sometime good to be foolish. Thank you for sharing the amazing poetry.

Sometimes, you're right Coyote, thanks :-)
"...like the fool tide..." Such good words to put together. This describes how sometimes you have no say in who your heart chooses to believe in. Nicely done in three lines, Frieda. Angi~

Exactly Angi, the heart wants what the heart wants, thanks so much.
A pointed thought, well articulated in so few words. Sometimes the best writes are those that are short and to the point!

This is such a powerful poem. I love the concept of how the untelling tides slowly change the heart scapes of a person. I feel like we have all been here before, and it's one hell of a lesson. Great job, my Jersey sista.
