I fell for you like amber raindrops

burnished by the sun's satiation,

golden in my heart you will remain

our love story as sinister storm clouds,

turning sapphire skies to bleak trickles

sank in drowning pools of our own undoing

  baubles of lust dissipated on the horizon 

     yet I still swim in you on dismal days...

Though some moments painful, somehow the pain subsides and it is these "golden" memories that we hold close to our hearts. Beautiful poetry my friend

Throwing caution to the wind or to the rain in this case, no matter how dreary the day, still I swim in you. This is absolutely beautiful Frieda. You take love and make it something that does not come easy, but when it does, it really does. Amazing my sweet friend, amazing once again.
