Another beautiful expression of the memories we still clutch within about those who have passed through our lives be they dead or alive. This is gentle and the metaphor of autumn sets the scene but I love the feelings of hope injected, for example '
after the ice of winter thaws
there will always be warmth' and those memories will always live as 'butterfly thoughts'
Pure beauty here, this is such a strong reminder of the bond our minds and hearts share with nature. Fall is my least favorite time of year for this reason. My pen hand again, bows to yours here, Frieda.

Wow Frieda, this is all I needed, this is so so good. It speaks so much about loss and my country as you may have seen from the media, we have had a weekend of terror with terrorist hunting down innocent people from a kenyan mall, It was really bad but things are slowly coming back to normal, this poem is really good. I really loved it.

dark and light, optimism and pessimism, joy and sorrow, hope and disappointment..i think you have mixed all of these together here and made them match each other. very deep thinking and mind provoking poem..
Wow, I really love the message here. It is with our hearts that beat that we keep the music of our loved ones alive. I also really thought the imagery was painted very well throughout your entire piece. Great job, my Jersey sista :)
Butterflies live on within us no matter what season it is.. For some reason this made me smile and tear up at the same time. I guess its the mixture of feelings you've woven... Your words are both pained and hopeful. ;-)xo
If you want to know me, read my poetry, it's all in there. I am a mother of three sons (my finest moments) a sister, a survivor and a little bit crazy. I lost my beloved sister to suicide, so you'll.. more..
