Another illustration of a piece here...Frieda...the whole theme and your musical accompaniment blends this verse within your lines...

Zingara .....shipwrecked in the Red Sea....hmmmm....seems to me this one is a bit of a vent. "Don't rain on my parade" sort of thing. Music does live in your soul and anyone who tries to silence it is not worth worrying about. Do dance over their poison, Frieda...for soon they will be drinking their own venom. The images in this poem are just splendid. Wonderful work. Lydi**

This resoanted...to be the free bird, to sing clearly and loudly, to relish the essence of happiness in elegant beautiful freedom, in the true sense of the word...the heart can be happy in such a state, this is beautiful xx
Great word choice and word play. The end struck me the most: Romance me & dance in this intense ardor~of wanderlust's destiny. Simply dream-like and beautiful!
this feels like you, Frieda...you do seem to have that personality...almost like a gypsy...not so much literally but in your poetry, you dance and sing and have great movement in many directions.

and just like that, you don't let it have any effect. You won't be brought down. I love the title too, so carefree. And I only needed to Google two words this time. LOL
If you want to know me, read my poetry, it's all in there. I am a mother of three sons (my finest moments) a sister, a survivor and a little bit crazy. I lost my beloved sister to suicide, so you'll.. more..
