~~Gypsy Soul Whimsy

~~Gypsy Soul Whimsy

A Poem by Frieda P

Gypsy wild at heart, I wander in my mind's lust
music lives in my soul of capricious whimsy's
t
unes
never content to remain captive too long

I need to sing anew, intoxicated songs of delectation
the poetry of life adds that extra spicy gusto
sweeps  of magenta grandeur & pomegrante's passion
I prance in the moonlight's bohemian spirit's envy

Cynical skeptics spell a darkly captive cast
I prance over their cryptic poison dust
these gypsy wings are joyfulness enraptured

No one can undo this spell of zingara's relish
walk in the critc's nature of unpoetic stanzas
if you're so inclined,       just don't reign in my kismet

Romance me & dance in this intense ardor~
                                                  of  wanderlust's destiny

Another illustration of a piece here...Frieda...the whole theme and your musical accompaniment blends this verse within your lines...

Thanks for the invite...I'm back to work with copy writer and doing my best to write 1000 words a day...and a subject you do not get to choose...will be busy the next few months...so I will read all RR"s might just take a bit longer to get a review...hope you understand...plus promote my book: The Onyx - Vena Amoris...for late next month release…

A high energy picture filled with sounds and figures swirling in silken multicolored coats: I hear violins and see silk billowing in the moonlight.

Love the title, the picture, and the Gipsy Kings aren't bad either ;) And I haven't even started on the poem yet haha This scene is so compelling and seductive that I think anyone who reads this will feel like a gypsy for a few moments...

And where, where, where is my gypsy wife tonight? ;) xo
