Yes, luscious meadows are the best of places. I live near many such meadows. Here’s a gift poem which you may keep as your own.
Meadows
Lay me down on luscious meadows
where keen metaphors abound.
Take me from the world’s ghettoes
where concrete defiles the ground.

Being that Fall's in in the air, and holiday season is beginning everyone most likely shall be busy till after New Year's Day. Tax and football season is beginning too.
This is natural beauty like the calmness/peacefulness of laying in the grass to sailing in open waters this resonates in my mind ringing as an uplifting poem. You write with such class and passion, it's hard to find amongst most writers but you do it with such ease.
Oh to be taken to a higher plane on the wings of a metaphorical masterpiece, it was a wonderful, rejuvenating, journey Frieda! Just what I needed and I am indebted once more to your literacy skills!
You certainly know the way to a poet's heart Mrs.R...to take all of these literary terms and produce something this sensuous is a talent, and you have it...the sonnet line was amazeballs (to use Kimmer's term) in light of how centuries have been spent trying to decipher them, something I know you don't have the patience to do ;) In other words, this piece strikes me as being all about you...the voices of most of your poems are universal, but there seems to be a whole lot of you in this piece, which is a good thing...this was in my library before I even got to the end...a gorgeous piece from an amazing poet :)

If you want to know me, read my poetry, it's all in there. I am a mother of three sons (my finest moments) a sister, a survivor and a little bit crazy. I lost my beloved sister to suicide, so you'll.. more..
