Frieda, this is a sensory explosion....absolutely love it. Thank you for every nuance of this poem....from the architectual shape of the words in the poem to mimic a tango dancer, to the irresistible music of the tango dancing....it just all goes together to say "Wow!" Love it!

Powerful words leading the reader to a good place. Good to tango and enjoy being alive. Video gave life to your words. Thank you for the outstanding poetry.

I have a friend on here and she said she loved this piece and boy, was she right? This was out of this world, Frieda. I enjoyed reading and the music, makes me want to Tango. I'm a bit like my friend, we dance together in her room or in mine but other times we dance alone in our own rooms but we like to think we dance.... Especially the Tango.

Yeah believe me it is. She is a great friend to have. Haven't seen her in yonks!
The tango is irresistible. Dancing is something I have never learned, mainly because of dumb adult ideas about dancing drummed into my child noggin. We belonged to a very strict, non-Pentecostal, no instruments music and no dancing church. I remember during second grade, a teacher in San Diego had our class outside to teach us square dancing. My knees were knockin' 'cause I thought for sure lightening would strike me dead on the playground.
So . . . I never learned to dance which is probably good since I have no rhythm. But reading this sure makes me wish I could.
