A Poem by Frieda P

Revel in your grace
take flight in the dance
bask in the sun
soak in salty sea of tears
sob for the plight
bathe in euphoria
exalt well-being,
stir in sensuality &
vital force of musicality
ascending the heavens
precious as air's
vehement breaths

Bemused poesy
staining the skin
penetrating the heart
absorbed within ardent spirit,
life revealed before our eyes
folded over neatly
waiting to be heralded
recognized by mankind

Ink permeates the page
floats unto the soul
of all those who listen
intently....

The musicality of this dances off of the page. It's beauty fills the air:

Bemused poesy
staining the skin
penetrating the heart
absorbed within ardent spirit,
life revealed before our eyes
folded over neatly
waiting to be heralded
recognized by mankind

Simply gorgeous!

I think this is my favorite of yours so far Frieda, it's so elegant and glides across the tongue. I especially like the advice inside it that almost whispers approval of a way your inner being is waltzing to an unheard melody, sure laugh it up, but I loved this, and I think you've reached something "more" with this one, not that all of your work isnt top notch, it's just more somehow, maybe just more to MY liking, lol

"Know that in this soul lives music, for without music there is no soul"

Frieda, to fill our eyes with the beauty that is your words is likened to 1000 songbirds serenading us as we read. Melodically flow you words in this beautiful poetic offereing. Indeed, your poetry definitely penetrates our hearts, allowing us to feel and understand the amazing beauty that is you.

Very nicely done my sweet friend.
