Poetry Procure

Poetry Procure

A Poem by Frieda P

Your ink injected into my soul
traced a straight line to my heart

 Intoxicating mind trances
        enlightened within balladry,
                    musings heady high

   Breathing in a whirlwind fire
                 heated to the core
       inhaling daydream's verse

   This addiction has no boundaries
there is no cure for poetry

It's good to get a little glimpse into another person through their writing. I think it's very human to seek commonality, we find validation when we find another mind like our own in some way.

Words, funny how an ethereal concept can be real enough to cause emotion.

there's no cure for poetry, sometimes it seems no cure for writers' block..and then sometimes no cure for an obsessive muse who won't leave us alone.

no matter what...we get addicted to the medicine that is the words we write and the words we read.

I guess poetry is one of the good addictions and might bring good fortunes for the individual and others when in inspirations it has that butterfly effect and crosses boundaries and cultures to touch the oneness of humantiy...
A splendid read and write...:)

Ha a poetic condition, like that Baby.
It certainly does seem for some of us there is no cure for poetry and happily that is the case, especailly when it is your poetry that I have the good fortune to read. Amazing from me is quickly becoming passe, but it describes your work exactly as I see it.

"For of you comes the gift of poetry, which I happily receive"
