Disconnected Dreaming

Disconnected Dreaming

A Poem by Frieda P

Was I flying or
 was it, dying
in my dreams
          upon your soul
I was suspended in
 your lusty web
my heart and head
                                     disconnected
As I fell back to earth
 to find
there was
 no reason
           or rhyme
just shattered notions
of love's emotions

Whew! I hope that was wonderful dream before disconnection as we have climax after interval in every movie :P
Just kidding dearie :) this is just a traveller from one world to another and you got me travelling from place to place with your word play here :)
Simply amazing and as usual Frieda got Karizmatic way of expressing with outstanding Calibre of executing the way which you always do :)

Heartbreaking write.. the shattering of a dream, realizing that you are disconnected with the one you thought loved you.. such sadness in this poem, Frieda.. and yet, beautifully penned.

Thanks Lori, very often it's like a bad dream, glad you enjoyed this one.
Dreams have a way of playing cruel tricks on us...i like the word disconnected as we do
seem to disconnect from reality when in love...Nicely penned Frieda:)

We sure do, thanks Rose! :-)
You have a unique way of tapping intp the dreamer inside yourself and bringing t reality deep thoughts and emotions. I sense confusion and state of lustful loss but so elequantly put together.

Very nice Sarah.

A good journey in your words. I like the logical ending. We learn the truth about all things in the end. Thank you for the excellent poetry.

Thanks Coyote.
Dreams have a funny way of posing all sorts of questions that in most cases we find impossible to answer. Your poem asks a few of these questions, and the beauty of your words, your phrases and your overall talent answers some of my questions, but not the one I seem to ask over and over again...how do you do it? How do you take a subject that could almost be described as nightmarish and make it something so very gorgeous. I will tell you this, your poems are alway like a dream to me, the sweetest dreams i could have. Very nice my extremely talented friend.
